Yelle – Pop Up.  It does exactly what it says on the tin.  Fun and bouncy synthpop with a twist of French quirkiness.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds – Dig, Lazarus, Dig.  Good to see they still haven’t lost their knack for making quality tunes.  This one’s funky as it is evocative.

We Are Scientists – Textbook.  Just such a beautiful song.

Nine Inch Nails – various bootlegs.  This time last year, I bunked off uni for three weeks in my final year to follow the band around the UK on tour.  I am overwhelmed just typing about thinking about my experience.  It was quite simply Good Times, and I’ve been listening to the corresponding concert recordings on show nights.  This being a leap year, we are currently in limbo between two Glasgow dates.
