Interesting image from the National Portrait Gallery’s Glamour of the Gods exhibition – they used an analogue version of Photoshop in the 1940s, apparently, manually retouching negatives to remove shadows, receding hairlines, expression lines, and excess body hair.
It makes what we can do today look easy.
Totally love old Hollywood images, so glamourous! Jen xoxo http://mystylisticlife.wordpress.com
